Headin' Out II.jpg
Looking like a scene from the 19th Century, Joe Gerald of Taneytown.drives a team of three Belgian draft horses through a snow storm.past the 190-year-old bank barn of Charlie and Ruth Shriver's near.New Windsor. Charlie bought Wakefield Farm in 1958 as a dairy farm,.always using "draft horsepower" to do all the pulling. It turns out that.Joe's father, William, was the foreman of Charlie's grandfather, George.M. Shriver, who owned a large dairy farm near Pikesville. George.was aso vice president of the B & O Railroad.
